The centrally located, colonial-style Vueltabajo hotel was built in the 19th century and is in a delightful setting. From the hotel, it’s easy to get to institutions that play an important part in the city’s cultural life: the Art Gallery, Troubadours’ House, the community center, a cigar factory, the House of Havanos and the Guayabita del Pinar distillery, which makes the drink for which the city is famous. In addition, we recommend a visit to the Rumayor restaurant, with its typical Cuban entertainment. The hotel also offers trips and excursions th the Viñales valley, the Guanahacabibes peninsula; Levisa and Jutía Cays, and other natural attractions. 39 air-conditioned rooms, including 2 mini-suites.
