Hotel Casa Granda is located right in the heart of the Caribbean city of Santiago, on a corner of the centrally located Parque Céspedes. It is surrounded by the Metropolitan Cathedral, House of Poetry, Carnival Museum and the Museum of Cuban History, amongst other valuable buildings.
“Do not stay there!”
We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights at the beginning of June 2014. The hotel is located right in the center of town, however, the rooms are terrible! Our room was dirty and dusty and we even had mold in the bathroom. Our bedsheets were dirty too. We would never stay here again! Breakfast is terrible and the only good thing about this hotel is the rooftop view. However, it is enough to go there and have a drink - no need to stay at the hotel!
