The Meliá Habana Hotel is located by Havana's seashore. Situated in the residential neighborhood of Miramar, the hotel is close to diplomatic and commercial offices concentrated in that sector of the Cuban capital. It is 15 kilometers away from José Martí International Airport. It is considered an excellent choice for businesspeople, due to its proximity to the Miramar Trade Center and the International Conference Center (the latter is the main venue of national and international events in Havana). The hotel is also a good option for weddings and honeymoons.

I stayed here for four days. It was decent establishment. Rooms were well maintained. Staff was friendly. Most spoke English. The restaurants were over-rated. After eating in the restaurant in the lower part of the hotel & spending money to eat bland food. We ate our meals pool-side. Hamburgers, pizza, & calamari. The pool was fab, I enjoyed swimming the full length of the hotel.
My only issue with this hotel was the blatant prostitutes that I observed. Old men with very young ladies that are dressed in a manner that is inappropriate for children to view.
